FAQs
Hiring a designer for the first time can feel like a big leap. These are the ones we hear most often, answered as honestly as we can.
Frequently Asked Questions
I have never worked with a designer before.
Where do I start?
1
The mini consultation is made for exactly this moment. A 30-minute session, no commitment, no judgment. Most of our clients come to us not knowing where to start. That is actually our favorite place to begin. Jade Collective Interiors offers a 30-minute virtual mini consultation for clients who are new to the design process. It is a flat-fee session with no commitment required.
How much does it cost to work with you?
2
Flat-rate fees, so you always know what you are committing to before we begin. The mini consultation has a set fee. All other services get a tailored proposal after a scope review. We will never surprise you with a number.
Do I need a large renovation budget?
3
Not at all. Services range from a single 30-minute consultation to full construction oversight. Some clients begin with a mini consultation and grow from there. Both are completely welcome here.
What does the process actually look like?
4
We like to keep it clear and low-stress. Here is how it typically flows:
Discovery. We get to know you, how you live, what you love, and what you want your space to feel like.
Concept Development. We shape the overall direction through mood boards, palettes, and early selections built around your vision.
Design Refinement. We work through the details together until everything feels exactly right.
Documentation. Once the design direction is approved, we prepare the drawings, specifications, and details needed to move into implementation.
Project Coordination. We stay involved with your contractors, vendors, and trades to keep the design intent consistent with what is being built.
Installation. Furnishings, art, lighting, and accessories are placed with intention. Every final detail is considered so the home feels polished, functional, and complete.
The Reveal. We walk through the finished space with you together. This is our favorite part.
What if I do not like something?
5
Please tell us. Our job is to guide you toward decisions you feel confident in. Open communication is always encouraged here.
Yes. For full service and remodel projects we stay involved throughout construction to coordinate with your contractor and make sure the design vision is carried through with care.
Do you manage contractors and construction?
6
Do I need to be in Colorado?
7
Not at all. Jade Collective Interiors is based in Erie, Colorado and serves clients across the Front Range, Boulder County, and mountain communities including Vail, Aspen, Breckenridge, and Steamboat Springs. Virtual design services are available to clients anywhere in the country.
Just reach out. Tell us about a room, a problem, or a feeling you are chasing. You do not need to have everything figured out. We will take it from there.

Are your designers certified?
9
Yes. Erin Rosas holds the NCIDQ certification, the highest professional credential in interior design. Together, the Jade Collective founders bring over 35 years of combined experience across residential, resort, and commercial interiors.
Our project work spans high-end residential, resort, and commercial interiors. Because much of it was completed through previous partnerships, we share it privately with prospective clients who are ready to begin a conversation.
If you would like to see our work, we would love to show you.
